Azzaro

Azzaro

The renowned Italian fashion designer and parfumier Loris Azzaro was born in Tunis on 9 February 1933. Following his studies and his first professional experience as a teacher, he decided to settle in Paris in 1962. Three years later he launched his first fashion accessories company, but his breakthrough came in 1968 with the famous cut-out circle dress. Azzaro rapidly made a name from himself in the fashion world and specialised in sheath dresses and draped and pleated bodices. Azzaro's style is sexy and glamorous and makes the most of the female form. Elegance, sensuality and luxury without ostentation form the keynotes of his creations. Azzaro launched his "Azzaro Couture" fragrance in 1975, the first of many. Not content with this, the Azzaro fashion house decided to expand its production, launching a range of high-end city shoes for men. Azzaro shoes are all manufactured in France and their elegant, contemporary styling makes them perfect for today's fashion-conscious men! After the death of Loris Azzaro in 2003, Vanessa Seward became the life force behind Azzaro designs.
