'Designing at KENZO, is a strong emotion, a real challenge'. That is how Antonio Marras used to define his role as a Creative Director at House of Kenzo before he handed it over to the two young creators, talented business partners Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. House of Kenzo was established in 1970 by the illustrious Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, and has always been nourished with his founder's vitality and Jungle Jap spirit. This young Japanese man quickly became a world renowned designer, extremely respected in the world of fashion and shoes. He designs poetic and colourful clothes, which he strives to give more freedom in movement and to always diversify his creations. He is interested in the universe of women, as well as men and children and launched a perfume in 1998, "Kenzo de Kenzo" which was an immediate hit. House of Kenzo has belonged to LVMH Group since 1993. Henceforth Humberto Leon and Carol Lim - who have turned into an essential couple in the fashion industry in the past years - are designing the clothes and accessories, and get inspired with the mix of styles and cultures which is so important to the brand
